This policy explains what we collect when you visit plugincrate.com or buy from us, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who is responsible

What we collect
When you place an order
- Your name, email address and, if you enter it, billing address and phone number
- The products you bought, the amount paid and the order status
- Your IP address and browser details, recorded by our store software for fraud prevention and tax records
- Any note you add to the order
When you create an account
- Your username, email address and a hashed password. We never store passwords in readable form.
- Your download history and licence status
When you email us
Your message and our replies, so we can follow the history of a support request.
Automatically
- Essential cookies keep your cart and your login session working. The store cannot function without them.
- Statistics. We use Jetpack to count visits and see which pages are used. It records aggregate page views and may set cookies for that purpose; we do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell data.
- Server logs kept by our hosting provider, including IP address and requested URL, for security and troubleshooting.
Payment data
Card and wallet payments are processed by our payment provider. Your card number is entered on their infrastructure, not ours. We receive only a confirmation, the last four digits and the transaction reference.
Why we use it
- To deliver your order and the download you paid for
- To provide support and respond to your messages
- To meet tax and accounting obligations
- To prevent fraud and abuse
- To understand which products and pages are useful, so we can improve them
Who we share it with
- Our payment provider, to take payment and handle refunds
- Our email provider, to send order receipts, download links and replies
- Our hosting provider, which stores the site and its database
- Jetpack, for site statistics
- Authorities, where the law requires it
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Support emails are kept for up to three years so we can recognise repeat issues. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete it, except for records we must retain by law.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Show you the personal data we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete your account and the data attached to it
- Send you a copy of your data in a portable format
- Stop sending you non-essential email
Email admin@plugincrate.com and we will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.
Cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking the essential ones will stop the cart and checkout from working. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Children
The store is intended for businesses and professional users. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date.
