We sell digital products that are delivered instantly. That makes refunds different from a physical shop, so here is exactly how ours works.
The 14-day window
If a plugin does not work as described on a supported setup, contact us within 14 days of purchase. If we cannot fix the problem, we refund the full amount you paid.
When we refund
- The plugin will not install or activate on a WordPress, PHP and Divi version listed on the product page, and we cannot resolve it
- A feature described on the product page does not work, and we cannot fix it within a reasonable time
- You were charged twice, or charged for an order you did not place
- The download is corrupted and a fresh copy does not help
When we do not refund
- You changed your mind after downloading and the plugin works as described
- The problem comes from another plugin, a customised theme, or an unsupported WordPress, PHP or Divi version
- You modified the code and it stopped working
- The request arrives more than 14 days after purchase
- The licence was breached — for example, the plugin was redistributed or used on more sites than licensed
Digital delivery and withdrawal rights
Because the plugin is delivered immediately, by completing checkout you ask us to start delivery straight away and you acknowledge that you lose the statutory right of withdrawal once the download has been accessed. This does not affect the 14-day refund above, which we offer in addition to your legal rights.
How to request a refund
Email admin@plugincrate.com with:
- Your order number
- The plugin name and version
- Your WordPress, PHP and Divi versions
- What goes wrong, and what you have already tried
We may ask for temporary access to a staging site or a screenshot of the error. That is usually faster than a long email thread, and it is always optional.
How long it takes
We answer refund requests within one business day. Once approved, the refund is issued to your original payment method. Your bank or card issuer typically takes 5–10 business days to show it.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before opening a chargeback. We resolve almost every case by email, and a chargeback freezes the order while it is investigated.
